Windermere is an incorporated town (1887) on the Butler Chain of Lakes — a set of connected lakes with some of Central Florida’s strictest lakefront culture. Downtown is small, oak-covered, and not interested in looking like Horizon West. Pools here are often older, larger, and sitting under Spanish moss. Isleworth and Keene’s Pointe are next door; those estate vessels are still residential, still chlorine or salt, and still need a brush. Orlando West Pool Care matches a local tech. The weekly job is botanical. Oak flowers in spring load a cartridge in one visit. Leaves after every storm stain the waterline. Pollen is not “extra service”; it is the climate. NOAA’s rain machine still hits 34786 even if the town feels quieter than SR 50. Shade slows UV burn-off compared with a treeless Hamlin lot, which is why a Windermere pool can look fine on chlorine while cyanuric acid silently climbs from years of pucks.
Lakefront lots sometimes confuse lake water with pool water. They are not interchangeable. UF/IFAS writing on Florida lake cyanobacteria (SG153, SG142) is about Apopka-class systems and nutrients — relevant as a caution, not as a filling plan. Do not top a pool off from a lake.

Volume changes dose, not the calendar. Summer still wants a weekly residual. Tell us approximate gallons if you know them.
