If you leave a Winter Garden or Clermont house from April to November, the pool does not hibernate. UF/IFAS is blunt about this. Closing Your Seasonal Home (FCS3154/HE887) tells seasonal Florida owners to have a reliable service check pH and chemical balance every seven to ten days, and not to drain the pool: sun can crack an empty shell, and after heavy rain, groundwater pressure can crack or lift it.

What the empty-house visit includes
- Weekly (preferred) or 7–10 day chemistry and cleaning
- Baskets, brush, vacuum, waterline

Snowbirds on this map
Windermere and Isleworth-area houses, 1990s Ocoee pools, and new Horizon West builds all sit empty in summer for the same NOAA rain machine. The difference is debris: oak pollen and leaves in Windermere, construction dust and fertilizer in Waterleigh, golf-course overspray in Stoneybrook West. Is monthly enough?
UF/IFAS wrote 7–10 days for a reason. Monthly in July in Orange County is how you fund a recovery. We will still say that if you ask for monthly.
Do you have a street address we can give the HOA?
No storefront is listed on this site. Use the quote form. We match a local tech; we do not invent a shop on Plant Street.
Will you winterize like Ohio?
No. Central Florida does not get a real freeze season at MCO normals. You leave the water in and keep sanitizer in it.
