Orlando West Pool Care
Pool service in Ocoee
Ocoee grew up as a west-Orange city on the old Starke’s Ferry / railroad geography, now framed by SR 50 and Florida’s Turnpike. It is not a master-planned village. You will find 1980s screen cages, 1990s concrete pools with original waterlines, and newer infill near AdventHealth Ocoee. That mix is the point of this page. A 30-year-old cartridge filter in a West Oaks-area yard is not a 2022 Horizon West salt system.
Weekly work here is often calcium, scale, and “we always used pucks.” Cyanuric acid is the silent failure. Florida 64E-9’s 100 mg/L public-pool cap (40 recommended) is a useful scarecrow. CDC MAHC still wants a free-chlorine floor, higher when stabilizer is present. We test. We do not lecture for sport.
North of town is the Lake Apopka rim. Again: lake ≠ pool. Storms still follow NOAA wet-season normals. Older pumps fail in July outages and the water goes green over a long weekend — that is recovery, not a remodel quote. We will not offer to replace the pump.
Ocoee sits between Winter Garden and Orlando proper. We stay on the west-side residential map. Oakland is the small city west along 50. Windermere is south of the heavier commercial strip.
My pool is 1994 plaster. Do you still take weekly?
Yes. Cleaning and chemistry do not become construction because the finish is old. If plaster is failing, we will say so and still only quote cleaning.
Do you cover east Ocoee toward Pine Hills?
Tell us the ZIP. If it is off the west Orlando map we will say no rather than invent a drive.
